We're looking for a new member of gate staff to work on-site at Trinity Buoy Wharf. This is a wide ranging role that includes gate security, concierge, post room and traffic management responsibilities.
Hours
36/ 48 hrs per week. 3 or 4 -12hr shifts each week rotating. The role of Gate Person is provided by two full-time employees on a rotating split shift: 2 days on / 3 days off / 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on / 2 days off repeating.
Responsibilities
Principle duties are as follows:
- The gate person at Trinity Buoy Wharf is the first person almost all our tenants, visitors and suppliers come in to contact with. It is therefore important that any person in that role is presentable, welcoming and helpful, at the same time as being a visible security presence
- Directing tenants and visitors: a good understanding and knowledge of all buildings, units and their tenants will be required to efficiently direct people arriving at the front gate.
- Parking: responsible for welcoming and directing vehicles on arrival and deciding if and where vehicles should be accommodated. Parking permit: responsible for issuing, recording, maintaining and checking all TBW vehicle permits in current use.
- Post: receiving and sorting the daily Royal Mail delivery and collection.
- Deliveries: directing or receiving deliveries from couriers and suppliers.
- Cleaning: responsible for keeping the gate/post room clean and tidy and decorated. Also responsible for keeping some of the road and entranceway clear and litter free.
